Il 25 e 26 ottobre si è tenuta la nostra semestrale School Locale a Roma, un evento formativo durante il quale si sono tenuti workshop e sessioni specifiche sul funzionamento della nostra realtà associativa e non solo.
L'evento ha permesso a volontari e volontarie di arricchire la propria esperienza e le proprie conoscenze, che possano in futuro sia tornare utili sia all’interno della realtà associativa sia nella vita lavorativa, acquisendo soft skills e nuove abilità.
L'evento ha coinvolto sia soci che nuovi iscritti e ha permesso di fare team building e favorire la collaborazione e la sinergia interna. Inoltre sono stati trattati in workshop specifici sull’ organigramma della nostra struttura locale e nazionale e l’organizzazione di eventi ed attività: gestione di imprevisti, budget, timing e comunicazione esterna sui social e con i nostri partners; ma non solo, durante queste due giornate abbiamo affrontato temi riguardo i Valori e le Cause condivise nel nostro Network, come usare un linguaggio inclusivo e come creare un Safe Space per tutti gli studenti e studentesse volontari ed internazionali che valorizzano le nostre attività locali. Infine è stata affrontata una sessione su come usare l’esperienza all’interno dell’associazione, le skills e le competenze apprese, anche nel proprio Curriculum Vitae.
L'evento è stato supportato dell’Università Sapienza di Roma e dell’ufficio Europe Direct Roma Tre che ci hanno fornito materiali per arricchire il welcome kit destinato ad ogni partecipante all’evento formativo.
Le sessioni formative sono state guidate da trainers appartenenti al Italian Pool of Trainers e dal Consiglio Direttivo Locale.
Le sessioni specifiche ed i team building hanno permesso il confronto e lo scambio di idee, rendendo questo weekend un momento di crescita personale e ha permesso di conoscerci meglio e legare rapporti di amicizia tra volontari e volontarie.

On October 25th and 26th, our semi-annual Local School was held in Rome — a training event that featured workshops and dedicated sessions on how our association operates and much more.
The event allowed volunteers to enrich their experience and knowledge, which can be useful both within the association and in their professional lives, by developing soft skills and new abilities.
The event brought together both members and new participants, fostering team building, collaboration, and internal synergy. Specific workshops covered the organizational structure of our local and national bodies, as well as the planning of events and activities: handling unexpected issues, managing budgets and timing, and external communication on social media and with our partners. Moreover, during these two days we addressed topics related to the Values and Causes shared within our Network, how to use inclusive language, and how to create a Safe Space for all local and international student volunteers who contribute to our activities. Lastly, a session was dedicated to how to make use of one’s experience within the association — including the skills and competencies acquired — in one’s Curriculum Vitae.
The event was supported by Sapienza University of Rome and the Europe Direct Roma Tre office, which provided materials to enrich the welcome kit given to each participant in the training event.
The training sessions were led by trainers from the Italian Pool of Trainers and by the Local Board.
The dedicated sessions and team-building activities encouraged discussion and the exchange of ideas, making this weekend a moment of personal growth and allowing us to get to know one another better and build friendships among volunteers.
